What is Copilot Studio — and why do developers care?
Think of Copilot Studio as the factory floor where AI agents get built.
Business users can assemble simple agents using drag-and-drop. But when the agent needs to talk to SAP, pull data from ServiceNow, or coordinate with three other agents? That is where you come in.
Copilot Studio gives developers a low-code canvas backed by a pro-code engine. You get topics, flows, connectors, APIs, MCP servers, and multi-agent orchestration — all in one platform that deploys to Teams, M365 Copilot, websites, and custom channels.
The developer role in the agent ecosystem
Not everyone who builds agents is a developer. Copilot Studio supports a spectrum — and the exam expects you to know where developers fit.

What AB-620 covers — the three domains
The exam has three domains, weighted unevenly. Domain 2 (integration) is nearly half the exam.

Exam tip: Domain 2 is king
At 40-45%, Domain 2 accounts for nearly half your score. If you are short on study time, prioritise integration topics: MCP tools, multi-agent solutions (A2A and Foundry), and enterprise knowledge sources. These are also the newest features — expect the exam to test them heavily.

Brand universe: AgentForge gets their first client
